AGM 2009

The AGM, held on Friday 23rd October 2009, at The Sherborne Hotel, Dorset was well attended & it was encouraging to see new breeders taking an active part in the meeting and receiving their prizes.

It was suggested that the Herd Walk be held at Lackham College to view their Hereford herd next year.

It is also hoped to hold a 2nd Hereford Sale for the Southwest at the new Taunton market in 2010 following the success of the 2009 sale. The intention is to hold this sale at the multi breed sale on the 2nd October 2010.

The South Western Hereford Association will be present at the Beef South West Event to be held at Exeter Market in 2010.

Following the AGM an excellent dinner was enjoyed by approx. 45 members and friends.

A most enjoyable time was had by all.
