THE BEEF SOUTHWEST EVENT
will be held at Exeter 29 / 9 / 2010
It is hoped to exhibit a bull and 2 heifers at this event on the Hereford Stand, and attendance from S.W.H.A. members on the day will be gratefully accepted. The exhibits will be chosen by the 'herd competition' judge.

Your committee met at the end of February and are excited to inform members that the S.W.H.A. in conjunction with the S. of E. Association, will host the National Calf Show at Bristol Sale Centre on the 13 / 11/ 2010
There will be classes for bull calves and heifer calves born between
September 2009 and April 2010. Also group classes and Championships.

32 Suckler Cows, Calves and Bulls
Other units to 1080gns for a 2006 born cow with her March (09) born steer calf from Mr I Tucker of Glastonbury.
2 year old in calf heifer to 1300gns and 1200gns Mr Patchett, Westbury, Wilts.
Yearling heifers to 1050gns from Mrs I J Jennings.
Others to 1020gns from David and Mark Oliver of Cornwall who also had 23 month old bulls to 1400gns.

The Sales Centre is found on the right just outside the village.
From the old Severn Bridge take the A403 to Avonmouth until Pilning traffic lights and turn left through Pilning Village.
The Sale Centre is on the left before Easter Compton
